Educational Background: With a foundational degree in Psychology from Trent University and advanced training culminating in a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, I bring a comprehensive understanding to my practice. Additional training includes EMDR, applied behavioural analysis, and certification as a Triple P Trainer.
Outside of Work: As a mom navigating the unpredictable journey of raising teens, I’m a perpetual learner. I love finding solace in the pages of a good book and the rhythm of cycling.
However, what truly ignites my passion is public speaking and teaching. In 2024, I launched a podcast titled “Breaking the Mold: Embracing Men’s Mental Health.”

My journey into counselling was shaped by a passion for helping others navigate challenging situations and increase the well-being of my clients while fuelling my commitment to providing empathetic and empowering therapy.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in a strength-based, person centered and empowerment models. I specialize in CBT, DBT and SFBT. I believe in tailoring my methods to suit your unique needs, ensuring a collaborative and effective therapeutic journey.

In my leisure hours, I prioritize spending quality time with my family and friends. Additionally, I dedicate several days each week to training at the gym. I firmly believe in the significance of balance and self-care, recognizing their pivotal role in maintaining overall well-being, managing stress effectively, and uplifting mood.
